Rip Roarn' Fun!

Carson's school celebrated Western Days last week. He loved dressing up like a cowboy and ridin' his horse!

They sang western songs, and even did a little square dancing.

Carson got to dance with his teacher!

They roasted marshmallows over the pretend fire, and galloped around the barrels.

They even got to pet a REAL pony!
(He was a little nervous-he got just close enough.)

After a long day on the ranch, this little Buckaroo was all tuckered out!

Love at first BITE!

Boston had his first taste of cookie dough ice cream, and he was hooked! I couldn't get it in fast enough to keep him happy. He was in baby heaven!

He's lovin' real food. Here he is gnawing on an apple with Aunt Katie. His smile says it all!

Our Little Artist

Last week, John stopped by Carson's school to see what they were doing in class (there is a mirrored window in the classroom so the kids have no idea they might have an audience!)

They were drawing and painting chickens. Carson sat at a table with 8 other kids who had to share a cup of paint- so... Carson got out of his chair to get some more paint and his paintbrush hit the back of the head of the girl sitting next to him. . .it left a big yellow paint mark. He looked at her hair, and then back at his brush and smiled real big as he continued to paint her hair. After a few strokes, he moved to the next kid and gave him a yellow hair-do as well. He went to the end of the table, dipped his paint brush and went back to his seat as if nothing ever happened. (John was laughing so hard he had tears running down his cheeks). Carson, no wonder you love school so much!

5 Years and Counting. . .

So, ever since I saw the movie, The Italian Job, I've been obsessed with the Mini Cooper. So, as a little surprise for our 5th Anniversary, John got one for the weekend! We dropped the boys off at Grandma's, and spent the afternoon cruising around Park City. It was so fun! We went shopping, and finshed the evening with a romantic dinner at Log Haven. It was a wonderful day that I will never forget. Thanks John, Happy Anniversary! I love you!
