Carson had his first day of school last week, and so far he seems to be LOVING it! He comes home singing songs, and can't stop talking about his teachers. I'm not quite sure what they do all morning, but he says his favorite part is the slide. Sometimes he has a hard time falling asleep at night because he is so excited to go to school. I couldn't be happier!
He woke up extra eartly Monday morning.
He was even excited to brush his teeth!

He was doing great, until they came to get him out of the car. He started to get a little nervous. He gave me a teary smile, and waved goodbye. I had a hard time pulling away, and worried about him the whole time. When we picked him up he was all smiles, and I was releaved.
We took him out to lunch after his first day. He didn't say much, but he was exausted. He had two scrapes, one on his knee, and the other on his forehead, and a giant juice stain on his shirt. It must have been an interesting morning. When we drove by his school on the way home he said, "I want to go back!"
Oh wow! We've only just begun. One day down, 13 years to go.
